Peek Brothers Racing
and
Peek Brothers Race Cars
After a few years of not racing I started a new car for the 1979 season, an A/FD. This was a fun car to build as I built it by myself and didn't let Michael do anything until it was painted and ready to bolt together. The details as I recall:
Peek Brothers Chassis: S/N tag with SEMA # 74 stamp welded on shoulder hoop.
Wheelbase: 235
Rear End: 9" Ford with Peek Brothers floaters.
Front Spindles: Peek Brothers 7075 Aluminum, hard black anodized (P&S style)
Originally set up with 426 Hemi, Lenco 3 speed.
Unique feature: A control panel from the steering wheel cross member down to the front seat
cross member had levers for fuel shut off, chute and air shifter buttons.
